I'm a computer's idiot..........
if I insert winXp in computer, will the window detect I have old version ? is there any right way guide me to install extra win xp ? do i need any partition by manual, or automatic separation distribute section to me.
no need make any partition ar.... only install the windows xp in another directory...
your old windows directory's name is "c:\windows", then you need install the windows xp into another directory name like "c:windowxp" else...
****** be sure not install into "c:windows" if not your windows xp will replace your old windows, it is very import.....
you can start install windows xp from CD boot or your old window...
if your old window is ok, insert windows xp CD into CD-rom, and double click setup, follow the screen
to do.... in the middle of the install, your computer will ask you format the harddisk or not, select on charge(not format ar, very import), and follow the screen, a few step, your computer will ask you what directory you want to install, the suggest directory is "window", you need change it to "windowxp" or others(very import).. then window xp will continue to install.... after complete, next time you restart the computer, your computer will ask you what window you want to entry......
because the step is a little long, and my express is not good, may be see below web.... very detail ar
