My son had his 18-month vaccination last sunday but started to get fever (39.5C) last night. After taking medicine, still having 37.1C - 37.5C, not sure if it is related to the vaccination or he caught a cold/flu.
Anyone knows if baby will get the reaction after few days after having the vaccination?
How is he now? Has he got other symtoms? If high fever persists (i.e. temp goes up >38.8 again 4 hours after taking medicine), I'd suggest you to bring him to see a doc. Normally, the fever caused by reaction from the vaccine won't be that high.
