Depend on what you want.
Transport: Westin is closed to Guangzhou East Railway Station and MTR station.
Relax: Shangri-La has a big swimming and beautiful pool.

Thanks for your reply! We will mostly stay in the hotel because it is too hot to walk outside especially with small kids. So, convenience to get to places is not our concern. What we are really looking for is facilities catering for kids' needs, such as kid's pool, playground, etc.

Shangri-la has very nice pool from what I saw on their website. But, is there a shallow water area for small kids? On Westin's website, I don't see any photo of their pool, how is it compared with Shangri-la.

I have not stayed at Shangri-La Guangzhou before. I think you could send e-mail to the CS of Shangri-La to check if they have baby pool.
