I bought my bb to do the 綜合觀察 last week. He didn't show any tendency to catch the toys in front of him (just suck his fingers). The nurse said that we needed to do the test again one month later. If fails again, my bb needs to see the doctor.

Don't worry too much. Each baby is unique and meets physical milestones at his own pace. If he cannot accomplish certain task right now, he will shortly. Maybe the toys at the child health centre are not attractive enough. Those toys are old and boring. Have you tested your baby at home with attractive and colorful toys and when he is full of energy? I believe only the babysitter and/or parents can tell if their children develop normally.
唔好咁擔心啦! 我相信每個小朋友的發展並不一樣的，好似我囡囡到了五個月才曉得反身和用腳仔退後，現在快要六個月都係偶然才反身，還不曉得返回原位呢。起初我都有d擔心因為我以前見我幾個姪仔姪女(我媽媽奏大的)都係3-4個月已曉得反身和用腳仔退後，而我囡囡就完全唔識，呢件事我都唔敢話比我先生知(佢無經驗嘅)，費事佢擔心。而我就只好亞Q d 話囡囡比較懶所以才不曉得。

Thanks for your encouragement. Actually we bought our toys to the health centre, when bb didn't try to catch the toys in front of him, we used our own toys to attract him. He will look at the toys but didn't have any intention to catch the toys.
Now my mom plays another toys with bb at home everyday. Hope he will catch the toy later. My mom says that bb doesn't have enough strength at his arm. What should I do?
