Please be fully alerted of this maid who called herself Gigi. She's a professional job seeker who has connection with an agency, Max Better which helps her to keep on finding new employer.
She is a big liar and she comes to HK simply to work for fun. We hired her for 11 months and every time when we point out what she needs to improve, she will just give you long face and immediately say she wants to give one month notice to terminate her contract.
We've complaints from our daughter's playgroup about her sitting posture during class (ie. half lying down on the floor) and I asked her to be aware of her posture, she immediately gave us one month notice. This is very annoying when we need to rely on her to take care of our 2 years old.
So please spread this out and tell your friends not to hire this maid if you and your friends don't want to suffer from this professional liar.
We really don't want any HK families to suffer from this kind of maid!!!! Can we do anything to stop these low standard maids coming to HK? Can we ask the HK Govt. to have better control on those maid employment agency?
I don't think the government can do anything about it....and I guess one out of 10000000000 maids can be claimed as good and normal......if they don't want to come overseas to work, why bother to come??? ai...............getting a good maid is more difficult than winning the lotto first prize!!!!
The worst part is... it cost us over $10K for suffering but the maid can simply get another new employer and have a holiday back in Phillipines before she starts cheating the next employer again.
exactly!!!!!! even they steal (if no proof but we know it's them), we still need to pay almost 10K to 'send them out from our home' cos we need to protect our family........
I think we should consolidate our own list of blacklisted maids and agents so that whenever we need to hire, we can simply refer to this list to avoid having these maids back to HK.
REMEMBER NOT TO HIRE FROM MAX BETTER EMPLOYMENT AGENCY - they have strong connection with maids and will teach the maids every possible ways to cheat the employers.
