I've never left a message but I'm also a 2011 Jan mummy. I was tested positive for Group B Strep @16 weeks. I was told I'd be fine but I'm worried that baby would come out earlier. I did a bit of research and doing these things:
1. Have yohurts for the good bacteria. I also have Lactobacillus supplement.
2. Have citrus fruits. Vitamin C can protect the membrane so the Strep B bacteria cant break in easily.
3. Look after your immune system. Eat healthy and sleep early.
I had another test @18 weeks and it came back negative (no Group B strep and lotsa good bacteria). So, I stick with what I have been doing. ALthough this is not for sure would avoid preterm labour, but healthy life syle is always good right?
