我的小朋友都是今年升K3, 9月便要選小學, 有朋友話主風和循道衛理都可以考慮.

你小朋友現在在那讀幼稚園? 有沒有心儀的小學?

We are a Christian family, so we prefer to have a Christian school for our daughter. We just recently relocated back to Hong Kong after many years in USA. So we are very new and unfamiliar with the 小一派位 process. It is very different from what we had when we were children...

From what our friend told us, now there are TWO rounds. The 1st round you can only pick one school, but that school can be in different school district/network. There are conditions that can give you "points" so that you can have a better chance than other people. And you have to wait for about HALF year to know the result?! Then the 2nd round is like a mega lucky draw, it's all by pure luck...

Our daughter is attending 合一堂 right now. We heard many good word about 馬循, and that's on our radar list right now. As we researched, I do not think there's any 一條龍學校.

We based on this list from EDB.

So if there are any information you can share, we will be greatly appreciated!!!

And we are also Christian family too. I think for the first round we would like to try the 沙田圍呂明才 and then the second round would be 馬循.

I have heard of that two also! Do you know the difference between 一呂 vs 沙呂? Other than 馬循 those are also two that I am researching right now.

以我所知, 馬循同馬主也是十分熱門的小學, "大抽獎"時若不放在第一志願是沒有機會獲派的.

我知道靈糧今年 (2010-2011 小一) 有小朋友第三、第四志願獲派.

但其實靈糧是一間不錯的小學 (純粹個人意見), 可能是因為它的位置和校舍的關係, 所以不是很多人的首選吧.

So if one have to... subjectively rank by personal opinion, I assume this is the common ranking?

And... any of them are running 精英班? Those 《龍虎榜》during examination really put on a lot of stress for children. We want to avoid those... don't want too much stress for our daughter!!!

BTW, not sure if any parents considered 基督少年軍 as part of the factor. But you can find the listing at http://www.bbhk.org.hk/ and look up 新東北區.

This is the preference of most parents

No.1 and No. 2 are quite close (in terms of ranking). In fact, No. 2 is originated from No.1 (the PM session of No. 1 before)

No. 3 & No. 4 are quite close (in terms of ranking). I heard that No. 4 would give more freedom to kids so not very much pressure on academic.

This is what I heard only. Correct me if I am wrong.

By the way, where do you live? I live in Vista Paradiso. So is your daughter attending the K3 this year?

Just wonder, as I heard from other parents they generally will also apply for a few private schools as alternative. What would be your private school choice, other than the 5 public schools (一呂/ 沙呂/ 馬主/ 馬循/ 靈糧) that we discussed so far?

各位好! 我囡囡雖然升K2,不過想早D留意升小一嘅資訊,唔介意的話都俾我加把嘴好嗎?

以我所知,好多住MA ON SHAN 嘅第一ROUND都去揀"沙呂" OR "一呂",於是,我有個疑問: 只得15分或以下的去博,我可以理解,因為反正揀邊間大熱嘅只係陪跑,無所謂啦~! BUT如果有20分(我都係),第一ROUND都走去爭"沙呂"/"一呂",哩兩間唔止沙田/馬鞍山嘅人都係揀,連住葵青,荃灣,甚至我聽過住粉嶺的都去揀,咁,EVEN有20分,都真係博一博,成數唔高!

但反而,如果有20分喺手,第一ROUND就揀同區MA ON SHAN嘅心儀小學如馬循的話,斷估好少人有20分都跨區揀佢,即係爭嘅人大部份同區者,自然競爭相對低D,而成功派到機會係咪高好多呢?

大家,我咁諗係咪正確呢? 如果係,咁我仲應唔應該第一ROUND有20分都出去同人爭一間超大熱學校?定或是安安心心揀番同區,穩陣D好呢?

其實小學近屋企真是很好的,慳了許多時間.
打了一大段,竟然不小心delet左:(激死!等我打完一段post先

米水:
一鳥在手,勝過百鳥在林,我一向是膽小的人,所以不會搏.如果有把握的和無把握的相距不大(我指喜歡程度),那為何搏?首生+宗教分,馬主,馬循都不一定收,不過當然比沙呂等機會大些.
