As far as I understand it, you can use computer or other hand-held electronic device on plane (except during take-off and landing). On the condition that you turn off the wi-fi and network mode, you can still use the IPAD.

講個秘密你聽, 我個ipod touch無飛機mode的, 我照係飛機上用..

我個手提電腦都無呢個設定的, 照用可也, 安全返到屋企..

空姐會提醒你幾時唔可以用電子產品的...

我會盡量熄哂所有wifi, bluetooth, 以免真係對飛機訊號有影響, 始終自己都係座上客, 小心d自己都安心d.

actually there are so many entertainment on the plane, why need ipad?

my kids only play ipad while we are waiting at the airport. they use inflight system to play games or watching cartoon after take off.

對, 我仔好搭cx時, 鐘意睇play house disney channel, 其實我仔平時都有睇now 442台的..
