Is you working in a oversea company?
If yes, your company's policy is the same as mine.
If I take the annual leave from 5/8 - 9/8, my company will count 5 days. So, I never took the annual leave (including Saturday & Sunday).
You should mention the date '5/8, 6/8 (half day) & 8/8 -9/8' on the annual leave form clearly. Did you write like this on the form???
