請問各位朋友
知知道New York Upstate在那裡？可否介紹一下？
New York Upstate有甚麽地方好住呢？
那邊的學校區怎樣呢？那區好呢？
物價是否很高呢？是否方便買嘢呢？
如果想在這裡買屋居住，好唔好呢？
樓價是否很高呢？
請各位朋友幫助！

由new york city 對上, 去到水牛城囉... albany 係NY首府3-5 hours from new york.. 冬凍夏熱..

we only got 1 mom lives in Upstate and we lost contact already.. no information can provide.
物價是否很高呢？是否方便買嘢呢？
you will shop at BJ's, Costco, or Sam's... 一買就few weeks, 冬天, 要儲糧2-3 months, as you couldn't go out.
如果想在這裡買屋居住，好唔好呢？
you need to drive up there and feel it by yourself, but I won't good... there is a place hard to find job, you must drive, no Chinese friend around. Difficult to cook Chinese food unless you use frozen food.. well... I would rather move to North Carolina or Florida better than New York Upstate~
樓價是否很高呢？
I don't think so...

很多謝你由我計劃來紐約，直至到全家在Brooklyn 居住，你一直都幫助我及家人，並給予我有用而珍貴的資料及意見！我是永記於心的。現在我有計劃買屋，但又不夠錢在brooklyn 買。因為實在太貴而且很舊，只好想找一些地方太貴而又好的地方，可否比意見給我呢？其實我有想過在staten island 找屋，但我大伯說：staten island很少好的小學及高中，如果在brooklyn 讀書，每日來回又要收很貴的過橋費，是很大的負擔。而且通街黑人，很擔心安全問題。其實真實情况是否是這樣呢？
staten island那處地方是比較少黑人及中國人而又寧靜安居之所呢？foreclousure House 是怎樣買呢？

the neigbhourhood I live, I have never see a black.. does your brother talk about the pier and Richmond Ave only??
In staten island if you can pay, the house price can go up to $2M-3M... at todd hill.
I live in Old Town, for 7 years, only 1 word, peaceful. Close to Hylan, exit 13, 7 minutes to &th Ave brooklyn.
My husband lives in New York for more than 35years... at every boro.. finally, he chose to land in staten island..
my children have never seen a cockcoach, or rat... I don't know if you see any in your neigbhorhood.
Compare with the insurance for your car and house, tax for your land, then, with the car pool just only $2.56 for the bridge.. it worths for me to have a 40X100 land for my kids to play every evening at our yard with playground.. clean and safe!
we have gathering every weekend at summer time. We do plan to invite you guys to come, but every time, when we think about that we don't have a car can pick up 7 of you.. then we quited.

Have you brother visited Staten Island before??

Iris,
If you move away from Brooklyn now, you kids are going to switch school anyway, they will not allow to stay in the school they are right now. because those are zone school.
Staten Island, PS 48 is the toppest, PS 22, PS 80 are very top listed.
IS/HS -- New dorp lane has a very good one..
If you live in my neigbhorhood (white), PS is 48, and IS will be New dorp.. all good school in Staten island.!

I would suggest you go around and look by yourself.

再一次多謝你的意見！
我會考濾搬去staten island，而且是我的首選。我總覺得我的哥哥的說話是可信的。我現在開始研究staten island的區份及屋的資料。別着急！我算過美國樓價會起碼再跌２５％以上，因為加息的惡號巳嚮，到時執平貨。祝：身體健康，萬事勝意。仔女聰明聽教，學業進步。

Eric said.. if you want, he can pick you up and drive you round, to feel it.
For your big kids, they can take the bus to my house, and for those young one, Eric will pick them up at the same time.

That may have to be a sleep over, so we don't need to rush, we have guess room if basement if you don't mind..
