Is it on the 1st day she joined? or after 1 mth (just like HK employees, normally after probation?)

Please advice when we have to cover their medical expense? Thanks!

I will buy the medical insurance (to cover her contract for two years) before her arrival. Of course, the maid also requires to go through medical checking on her arrival to Hong Kong before she works in my home.
