I confirmed a booking with CX holidays to Taiwan on mid of July and I called to the hotel which say they cannot locate my reservation. I called to CX from yesterday until now each time at least one hour without any Customer Service rep. to answer the call. I am so desprate and disappointed
CX customer service hotline is in need of manpower resources during the peak holiday period.
At a time when the volcano ashes affecting all the flight schedule in Europe, I kept on dialling the hotline until it was connected. I had to handfree the phone and keep concentration for almost two hours.
Luckily, I could talk to the staff to make change of the flight schedule at last. Actually, I bet my luck in the mid of the waiting time as I went to toilet.
Dont worry! CX usually will send the guest info before 1 week, sometimes 2 days before arrival. Because I worked in hotel reservation before, so i know it.
They replied to my e-mail after two hours and I waited for two hours until the CS answered my call.
They said they will send the confirmation to the hotel 3 days before my arrival and I made the payment on last week already.
