I have lower back pain as my boy (2 yrs 4 months) always want me to carry him. Maybe I need to work, and he really miss me; Especially when he starts going to school now, he always want me to carry him after school. Since it's so sweet, and his 'eye' is so attractive, I can't say NO.
I tried many methods, such as going to '隻'醫, 針久...
However, it's too expensive to visit the '隻'醫 regularly. From my experience, doing exercise is the best method. In the long run, I think this will help a lot because doing exercise (even simple stretching ones for 15 mins at home) will help to strengthen the muscle. With stronger muscle, it's better. With more flexibility, it's better.
Another method is a traditional chinese method called Moxibustion (Moxa Treatment). in chinese, called 艾條, which can improve the 氣 inside the body. When I feel tired at the back, it seems the 氣 is all blocked at the lower part of belly or back. The concept of doing Moxa Treatment is like doing 太極, try to move the 氣 of the body, which is very helpful for health, and also feel very relaxed and 鬆 after the treatment.
Another good method is applying body oil with essential oils (which are good for muscle pain), if possible, ask husband to do massage or go to beauty salon to do massage.
At home, I will apply those muscle pain massage oil, sit on the OSIM massage chair, it helps.
Or add a few drops of essential oils which are good for muscle pain for 浸浴.
When I sit, I have a special cushion to support my back. When I sleep, I can't use 平睡 position for a long time, I have to 側睡.

I forgot to mention, the Moxa Treatment can also help to balance the hormones, which is good for people with menstruation problem. I do heard that using 熱水袋 will soothe the pain, but it's just 舒緩 the pain feeling & makes you feel better. It doesn't really cure or treat the problem.
but I think for some mom who really got problem for a long time, better to visit the doctor. One of my friends got back pain for years, and finally she had 骨剌.
