As I'm considering to move in, would any mom comment about the living at Upper Kornhill Block A and B.
1. How is the management quality ? How much is the management fee ?
2. How is the club facility ?
3. Is there any water drainage or leakage from the wall or window problem ?
4. How about the water pipe, will the water yellowish ?
5. Will it be so noisy because of the mini-bus stop ?
6. Is it inconvenient in night transportation as there is only mini-bus service.
1. Management quality: quite good. Management fee: can't remember for sure. Something like $1.3 x the size of your flat.
2. My hubby loves to play tennis there. There're also gym room and squash facilities. But you need to pay to join the club and you also need to pay for these activities. After joining the club, you can enjoy swimming for free. The club has two out-door swimming pools (not the full-size ones). One swimming pool will remain open during winter times. We used to reserve barbecue facilities there as well.
3-4. We did not notice the problems when living there. But we replaced the old water and drainage pipes when we moved in.
5. I walked up to Block A for fun sometimes. Maybe I'm used to the noisy environment of HK, so I don't feel very disturbed by the minibus stop. But we all have different endurance levels towards noise. So it's better for you to go there at different times and open the windows to check.
6. I guess it'll be difficult for those living at upper Kornhill. That's why we chose mid Kornhill - save the trouble to taking minibus.
Dear Pauline,
Thk Q so much for your comments.
1. Do you know how much for joining the club as family member. Can outsiders be invited to enter into that Club.
2. Is it convenient for market shopping apart from the Welcome supermarket there.
3. Is that Welcome a hypermarket with Japanese food and read-cook food, or just only an ordinary supermarket.
4. Does it need to pay 地租 ?
