請教裝 IP cam.

請問, 我的想在客飯廳放鏡頭, 但電腦和modem是放在睡房, 兩者相距20多呎, 怎辦?

你可以裝 wireless CCTV (無線閉路電視), 可以經電腦錄下所有過程 (大概 1GB 可錄 1 小時), 又或可遙距監控。

ioi,

1) 買 wireless IP CAM, but you need a wireless router

2) 用wire IP CAM + 明綫 + router, 由睡房拉到客飯廳

3) 用wire IP CAM + HomePlug + router, 一個 HomePlug 在睡房用 - connect to your router/PC, 一個 HomePlug 在客飯廳用 - connect to your IP CAM

I used Vivotek and sounds good! CCD lens, Pan/tilt, ...

For IP cam, I guess you should budget at least $1,xxx (for wireless, will cost up to 3K) with,
- Wire IP cam - $1,xxx
- Router - $4xx
- HomePlug - $???

Actually, HomePlug are something plug into your electronic socket and you can use it simply as local LAN; for details, you can refer to Seteye ...

如果你想係公司睇/控制個 IP cam, 最好先試吓佢地的 demo site, 否則可能係公司用唔到.

其實係個 friend 幫我係屋企部電腦度裝左, 真係好方便, 只係要加一張 DVR card + wireless CCTV 就可以遙距監控同錄影 , 唔需要加 router, 不過係無聲音, 只有畫面, 大概都係 $1,200 左右 (唔係好記得實際數目)。

但係要記住一樣野, 係個 wireless CCTV cam 裝o既位置, 一定要有個電制位 or 拖板; 仲有, 如果你要係公司 moniter 屋企情況的話, 你公司部電腦一定要裝一個 software 先睇到, 套 software 係 DVR card 度已包埋。

can your wireless CCTV cam can be seen in the office where IPcam can't. I want to install one more as the ip cam cannot be seen in my office

I guess router is not a requirement. You could connect one HomePlug to the modem, one to the PC, and one to the IP CAM
