Please help to answer my question... I would have to bring my Indonesian maid to a place out of HK a whole day because she has stayed in HK for more than 2 years and she needs to get out of HK for a while (within the third year) so as to extend the visa (2 years contract with me).
1. As per her agent's advice, I must bring her to China for a whole day for this purpose. Is it correct? Or can I bring her to Macau?
2. How could I apply the visa for her?
3. What is the visa fee?
4. Agent said she can bring my maid to China for this purpose. Could I trust her (because I don't know where she would bring my maid in China).

You can bring her to anywhere. Macau is most convenience. I will not trust any agent, as they are all not trustable. If you really have no time, then got to let agent to do it, better ask who will pay for the maid's expense? If agent will pay no harm to let them do it but I don't think they will lor.
To China need to apply visa, to Macau no need woh. Only need the passport and contract.

[size=medium]The agent will charge you, for mine she charged me $800. They usually bring the maid to 羅湖 and sit outside the train station. For my case, i asked my mum take my maid to macau.
Thank you so much for all your advices. KarenK, your information is helpful. Agent said Macau is not ok for visa extension and I must bring my Indonesian maid to China! To me, I would prefer Macau. If you had actually brought your Indonesian maid to Macau and got her visa extended, I will follow you. One more question regarding your last mail, do you mean that the Macau immigration may not chop on her extended visa?
