要有公司同你做employment visa架bor. 去jobstreet.com 睇睇. 住方面, if u can stand to stay in HDB(dogs' weewee smell in the lift is v common!) SGD2x00 (2千頭起) per month. Staying in Condo, I think at least SGD2x00 (2千尾)/3000+. I got a friend he's moved in in a studio (400-500 sq ft) in Studium since a couple of weeks ago. He is paying SGD2900.
It is hard to find a job if u are not citizen or permanent resident. Singapore govt are not v strict to give working visa. You might need to find the Singapore job from agent in HK. Then let new employer apply visa to you.
Note: HK passport only only allow to stay 30days. If extend is at most up to 3 months. Be prepare u need to go back HK if u can't get a job.
i am currently working in singapore. I applied long term vsit pass which allows me to stay in singapore for one year last year in HK. Then I started to look for job after marriage in Singapore last Oct(my husband is singaporean). My employer applied Employment Pass for me and now I have got my PR in Sept.
I would say it is would be quite difficult to get a job here is you dont have PR or Citizenship. Because most of the employers won't even give you interview if you don't have PR.
Besides, the salary is lower than HK. For example my husband is working in a MNC which has Asia headquarter in HK too. His colleague's working in the same position as him, earn more than him. It is because the labour cost is cheaper here. Of course if you can find a job in MNC or government related companies, the benefit and salary will be much more higher than local companies.
Oh another thing is, you can apply Singapore PR directly in HK if you are Uni graduate. But...I think it is not that easy. Usually people have to wait for about one year to get PR here...some most of the cases they will reject even you are uni graduate.
