What should i prepare?

what gears do i need to prepare in advance for breatfeeding?eg. bf bar, milk storage bags/bottles, etc.

anyone got a list to share?

Hello bbjan,

Here's what I can think of:

For the first one of two months, you only need yourself and your determination - nothing more!
(Though you may consider getting Medela PureLan cream to soothe the nipple.)

Then, you may think about expressing milk, so here's what I use:

1) Avent manual breast pump
2) Avent steriliser
3) Avent bottle warmer
4) Avent bottles, caps and teats - I use bottles to store my fresh expressed milk coz' I think it's convenient this way - just switch the cap to the teat, warm it up, and BB can drink it. Eight bottles are enough.
5) Avent storage cups - I use these to store frozen milk for emergency use.
6) Insulator bag with hot/cold pack (Tommee Tippee) - to carry expressed milk (cold: after pumping it out in the office, or warm: when you bring BB outside).
7) BB sling if you are to breastfeed outdoors.

最重要係多看有關"母乳餵哺"o既資料,裝備自己,有心理準備初時會幾辛苦!!

Which sling doesn't really matter. You can take a look at Glad's article with videos which teach you how to use a sling properly (under the topic "info bank").

By the way, I forgot to put it down...

You'll also need: nursing bras and nursing pads.
