Business trip for 5 weeks, how to keep up the milk supply?

Please HELP!! BB is 5 months old, how to keep my milk supply during the 5 weeks of business trip? :cry: :-(

5 weeks

1. Any freezer is available at your trip place??

2. You may use mama milk bags to store your milk at freezer there, then store it at plane freezer requested before at airline check-in counter. My friend used this method to transport milk back to Hong Kong.

3. It is an upset method: Keep on pumping and throw away. It can keep your milk supply :-(

如果你是stay在hotel，一般hotel房的雪櫃的冰格是唔多夠凍的，你可以試下叫hotel同你keep在他們的雪櫃內(當然，你要pack得好些)。我以前都試過在日本的hotel雪些要結冰的食物(不是母乳)，佢地都ok的。

好無良呀 !!

I always try to come back in the same day, not even to stay over night ! really cannot leave the baby so long.....

5 weeks???

真係好長, 如果你想繼續餵就一定要日日泵啦! 我之前出左3日trip,一日keep住泵4次,翻黎都可以繼續餵!

Before you go on trip, you may pump your milk after feeding your baby, so that you can increase your milk supply and to store extra milk at home (in fridge).

During the trip, keep pumping out your milk in order to keep supply.

I did the above when I went on 8-10 days business trip before.

有看過置的母乳餵哺資料庫嗎? (在我的簽名欄有連結click進的)
D-8是一位有經驗出差的母乳媽媽分享.

有一個建議, 如果真的無法儲留母乳, 把它用來敷面, 帶備面膜紙, 浸透母乳就可以美容, 令勞慮的肌膚享受最天然的呵護!

如果可以接受飲母乳, 享受最鮮最天然的補品, 是不錯的考慮!

盡量保持有適量的擠奶機會, 預防閉塞.
萬一發生了, 第一時間做按摩和熱敷.
預備即熱的暖包旁身, 可以隨時方便用得著.
在酒店房間, 就來個可以接受的熱度, 以最強力的水力花灑, 邊淋邊按摩.

要緊記, 別在沒有按摩和熱敷之前擠奶, 因為不單沒有成效, 反之會扯傷乳腺, 引致發炎, 後果嚴重.

最安全的做法是, 完成熱敷和按摩後, 用手來擠出乳汁, 確保是通了後才用奶泵是較安全的.

其實不管是否出 trip, 平時也有機會乳腺閉塞的, 始終是預防最重要啊!

Thanks a lot for all your advice!! Will try to increase my stock before the trip and try to keep the supply as it is difficult to find time to pump milk during office hour... but will try my best in hotel.
