After reading articles in BK about this machine, I bought one in Jusco last week. But it seems like a toy !
The steam temperature is just about 40 degree but the sale say it is 130 degree. I feel being cheated !
I bought at $751. I tried to put towel to steam and touched it. It was a bit warm. So, I put my hand in front of it to try. ...the steam was just a little bit warmer than our body temperature...i put my hand even closer to its steam exit.....not hot at all.
I already followed the instructions. So, my husband thinks i bought a toy instead of an insect killer.
if you meant that you touched the steam directly with your hand and it is only slightly warmer to our body temp, you are probably just seeing evaporation...
water has to reach at least boiling point of 100C in order to become steam... perhaps it takes time for the machine to warm up? maybe try steaming a bit longer and see if that changes...
i'm thinking of buying this machine also, please let us know if it works out.
