My friend has two children, one is five years old and other is 3. Her Indo maid (2nd contract) recently requested her to give her stay outside in every Sat, otherwise she prefered to resign. As my friend and her husband are also need to work and no grandparents to take care the child. What should they do? I suggested her to recruit another maid immediately, once the new maid come I will let her go. Any suggestions.
Same as my Bun Bun. She was rent a boarding house with another Bunbuns share cost around HK$500 a month. And requested stay outside every Satursday. I was rejected and now searching a replacement as I find she has a boyfriend and her working performance was change.
Don't let them stay overnight outside.
Find a replacement, let her go.
I rejected when my bun bun ask for stay overnight outside during past Christmas. Then she never request again till now. So you must not allow her the 1st time.
My friend already accepted her maid to take alternate Sat stay outside each month. As her maid is very inch (she gave resignation letter and one month notice to my friend) and knows my friend can not take leave in these few months and no relatives can help them. Although she will find another maid to replace the existing one in Apr as she can only take leave in Jun and July. I think most HK employer are pity! She is very scare if the maid later tell her she is pregnant or ask for another ridiculous requests. Why the Gov't only protect the maids ???????
