PDA range from $1xxx to $4xxx
Brand - I recommend HP/DELL

In fact I got NO knowledge on it.

Yes my friend also recommend me HP/Dell, and also Fujitsu.

For budget, below 4500 will be fine.

My friend recommend to buy one w/ resolution of 680 x 480. But I find limit model have this resolution. Any idea?

Hi wingwingchu,
I think you should think about what the PDA can be done for you. But as a gift with the 640X480 display, you may consider the HP and Dell model (all are pocket PC, not Palm). Here in below are their info:

2 models have 640 x 480 res.

1. HP 4700 Intel® PXA270 624 MHz - around $47xx
2. DelAximTM X51v 624MHZ - $3xxx

HP screen is better than Dell, I saw difference from my friends..
But, DELL this model have latest OS (Mobile 5.0)
HP 4700 still running the old one, but it can be upgrade later...

For me, I will buy HP4700 if your friend concern High res. My friend use it to watch movie, effect quite good. HP also have more RAM
