Which ski resort is the best in Sapporo

I am planning a ski trip for coming Dec, Any suggestion

I have been to Sahoro, Kiroro, Rusutsu. All are good ski resorts. If you don't know how to ski, Club Med Sahoro is best, as there are English-speaking free tuition at all levels.

我正係去過留壽都, 佢地有shuttle bus 由札幌前往, 不過要book 的, shuttle bus 是要錢, 但我唔記得幾多了, 車程要2粒鐘
留壽都都幾多野玩, 除了滑雪外, 仲有其他雪地game的, 不過我那時去就幾多hk人囉

mcyip, thanks for your advise. For clubMed Sahoro, can we just book the hotels there for two days or we have to join the packages from clubMed only. In fact, My husband and me know how to ski very well. Only my five years old son will join the beginning class. Other than skiing, we will spend half or one day to visit the marine park in Noboribetsu. I think Rusutu is close to Noboribetsu. Have you been the marine park before? Is is worth to go ? Also, which hotel you recommend for Rusutsu?

I've also been to Rusutsu, and stay in their resort. If you and your husband are good at ski-ing. Then it wouldn't be a problem, cos' Rusutsu has several runs, and you can take the "cable car" to other side of the mountain, which is "less crowded", and really "ski". Not mixed with sledge.

You can buy the land package only and arrange the air and land transportation yourselves. I am not sure, but I think Noboribetsu is about 1-hour away from Rusutsu. I have been Noboribetsu in summer more than ten years ago, when I believe the marine park wasn't there. In Rusutsu there are a resort and a Tower under the same hotel with shared facilities. There is also an indoor artificial-wave pool with a slide, merry-go-around etc.

Do the Japanses Ski resorts offer English coaching? My boy is 5years old and he wants to do skiing very much, we wanted to go to Whistler but the air fare is very expensive during CNY, so we are thinking an alternative, any good advice?

My first ski experience is in Rusutsu, and I met a very nice foreigner (English speaking) coach, but he was in Whistler this winter.

I find it is not easy to book a room in Rusutsu. They didn't has on line reservation. I sent email to them but reply is too late and very simple.

So I try to book through HK agent but the cost is quite high, around HK$3,000per night (3 beds room). Anyone has booked Rusutsu by yourself? Please advise how to do.
