I have applied a Indo. Maid at Mid of Dec. and once got the VCA, then send a letter to Immigration on 28th Dec. However, nothing show from them. I will deliver my BB at Beg of Feb, I need a maid to take care my 3 yrs old daughter.
Does anyone knows how can I further push Imm. and what Tel no. I should dial for.
Please call Immigration directly yourself and write to them stating your urgency.
Last my friend's case, she even take 1 day leave and walk-in to Immigration asking to meet the Officer who in-charge her application. My friend has prepared the letter again and hand in to the Officer. Of course, she has explained to him what is so important letting the maid come earlier (showing her new born baby photo). She then received a call from the Officer the next day and told her to pick up the visa 1 or 2 days later.
不過要做o既就係如果經agent申請,便要問清楚佢o地有否幫自己做快証,其實申請時agent一定會俾封快証信俾你簽埋,我o個時申請就係咁la!
=> Agent give you to sign is the standard letter. If you really want to chase up and push Immigration, you have to submit again your letter.
Don't rely on the Agent so much. Of course, you have pay them to follow up the case for you. But it very depends on the service level of the Agent. Honestly, even though you have already pay them, no matter they do thing for you or not, you never know.
My friend has submitted her application through Agent. After she got the File No (VCAC.....), she wrote many letters. Because she has just give birth the baby and in gret urgency to have the maid, she go directly to the Immigration and follow up by herself.
Actually, My agent did not give me any letter to sign, however, as mentioned, I visited imm. and stayed my case at general enquiry counter (but not appointed officer)at the end of Dec. Still no any answer, my daughter is recently certified Asthma, she cough seriously at midnight and always ready to hospital, it is big burden to me cos' I don't have any relatives and hus. around. I am afraid my baby deliver earlier, its ture that no one take care my elder daughter.
