你小朋友11出月出世,好細喎.我囡囡2月尾出世.我唔知合一堂好唔好,只知上午班好難入.合一堂依家開始接受報名.至於校舍裏面的環境,我看不到,因我去取報名表那天(星期六),學校話有小朋友上課,不可以參觀校舍.學校個職員叫我遲些開放日先來參觀.我見學校都有上Babykingdom個網,唔知係唔係收資呢?
My son was born in Jun 03. I'm now thinking of two options:
1) nursery in Ma On Shan and kinder in Kln Tong (pro: no need to travel long time for a 2-yr kid, con: need to adapt to new environment in kinder);
2) both nursery and kinder in Kln Tong
I will consider boxhill, wellborn, Hop Yep Tong & think in Ma On Shan; St cat, Kentville and Baptist in Kln Tong.
I plan to visit the school in these two months. I only attended the open day of boxhill and the trial playgroup class. Did anyone visit the other school(s)? Any comment?
My boy was born in Jan 2003, I have same idea as siupopo, 2 options:
1) Nursery in MOS (Boxhill) then Kinder in Kln Tong (SC or Kentville) as I don't want my 2 yrs old boy travel long time for 3 hrs class everyday.
2) Both Nursery and Kinder in Kln Tong, no need to adapt to new environment agian.
Finally, I choose option #1, my boy will start nursery class at Boxhill in the coming Jan. and I still want him to entry SC or Kentville for kinder later.
Yes, my boy is now attending Fanny's Workshop (if you heard this before?), only on Sat / Sun (once per week) as I'm a working mummy, so that I can only take my boy to playgroup by myself on weekend.
If your baby attending any playgroup now? ** Don't try 'John's International'** my boy tried this when he was 18 mths, I found it just waste time & money.
My son has not attended any play groups yet but I am considering it now. Sometimes I even think we can group together and have our own play group as we all live quite nearby. I am a native speaker of Putonghua so if I do one, I would love to do one in Putonghua.
Are your kids attending English or Cantonese play group?
Hi, everybody, let me join in. My son was born in October 2003. He has tried some playgroup trial classes, such as boxhill, John's International...As for nursery, he has gone to interview at 錦泰苑美善and is on the waiting list. If accepted, he will start attending nursery in October 2005. I have also applied 合一堂but no response from this school. I am also a working mom, so let's chat again later! :lol:

It's a very good idea if we could arrange our playgroup in Ma On Shan so that our children don't need to travel. Do you have any ideas/plan?
I hate to make commitment. If I do, I will just invite children over for fun.
can we take turns to host our play group?

No need to say sorry wor, we just helping each other and I love to make friend with all of you MOS mummy. As we all live nearby and our baby's age is very close (within 1 year). We may arrange gathering sometimes on weekend to let the kids play together and have fun.
Fanny's workshop is in KLN Tong
They use both Chinese and English
I tried 2 times only but think it's good as the teachers are good in communicate with the kids (for details, you can go to the Topic of 'Fanny's Workshop 2003' under 教育小組)

I love your idea but sorry as my place is very small, I don't think I can invite kids come over for fun but I still want to have some gathering with you all. If anyone have an idea on this, where we take place and the time ...
