i employed a maid start this month. she had worked in hk for 2 years and i enter the contact with her myself not through agent.
she's honest (so far and also comment from her previous employer), good cooking, keep clean and tidy. but she liked to do the housework or talk on phone while we are not at home (told her already we have net cam) and seems not like to take care my children .
i told her not to talk too much phone already and she's not happy (but no long face, just not much smile or talking with us)
my kid called me today she's hungry but maid not give her snack. i saw from the cam, the maid stood behind the door and talking on her phone (because i asked my kid to give her the phone for me to talk to her and i heard some phil language so i knew her talking on phone).
it seems she are not aware of the children's need. i don't want to destroy the relationship, what to do?
What is the purpose for u to hire the maid? Probably is to take care of your kids, right? As u mention, your maid seems not really take good care of your kids wor. For me, maid likes to talk on phone is OK, as long as she can manage the work probably. U can see easily whether the maid loves kid or not, u can feel it or your kid will tell. If your daughter likes the maid, then more or less the maid is taking good care of her. For your situation, I will fire the maid since u already give the warning to her but she seems not quite listening....
