Yes, I hired my maid since last June. She's quite good so far. Very simple minded and cheerful. But of course, you need to teach her a lot about HK culture and traditions esp cooking. She learns fast though.
All the maids I hired had worked in Singapore before. They are all Filipino.
The contract of my present maid will be expired in mid May. I find it is not easy to find one with at least 2 years experience in Singapore now. I even try Indonesian maid.
I'm afraid I have to hire a no Singaporean experience maid this time. Anyone can share your experience?
my maid w/ exp in philippines only. later on i found out she lived w/ her aunty. so i think her exp was taking care of the children of aunty. any way, doesn't matter, because they can make up any story to you.
never want to hire a maid with exp in hk, singapore, etc. i want to teach & train her by myself. if i fail, that's my problem la.
as a working mum, i need her to take care of my baby well. any other (like cooking) is a bonus to me. at the beginning, i even cooked for her. then she started to do other duty one by one. now she is doing everything ok.
I had one bunbun she has 3 yrs experience in philippine before, but seems like fresh, even stupid than a fresh one. She cried in central for getting lost, not asking police or other bunbun, she said no bunbun in central Just cry in central for an hour, I was in central to find her for one hour.
