我阿b每次第一口都十整到我大叫, 唯有佢開始食時再 "git"個胸多d肉人佢個口, 有時重會用手"禁"住佢下巴等佢個口張開大d。

我阿b又係口仔張唔夠大, 就算我噤大佢个口, 佢食食吓, 口都會細番...食完我nipple好痛呀..

依家惟有全泵喇 !

My bb did not open the mouth large enough to suck the nipples and every 'suction' hurts a lot. Now she is 19 days old and she seems to be able to open her mouth large enough to cover the nipples. Although it doesn't hurt that much during the feed, after each feed the tip of my nipple still hurt and you can actually see some pink flesh. Does this happen to any moms that have successful breastfeed?

I have a problem in breastfeeding my baby that he sucks only 5-10 mins then fall asleep, I tried so hard to wake him up, he only sucks another 2-3 mins then back to sleep again, the worse is he will cry out loud for milk again only 30 mins to 1 hour later. I keep on waking up and sleep to feed him I have tried to feed him formula at night only so that he could sleep longer (every time he takes max 3 oz) and only sleep for 1-1.5 hours. I couldn't sleep for long and almost sick myself (I pump for him, he only takes 3 oz, and wake up again in about an hour later )

Any ideas :idea: :idea: what to do with these problems? Thanks

I am lucky that so far my nipples do not get hurt. But if I find my B's mouth too small, I will use my fingers to "tune" his pose.

To sooth the soreness, I find the lanolin cream too thicky to spread out. My hospital gave me "Camoderm" (a chamomile ointment) which I think is easy to spread out. Can buy at most pharmacies and also "Hor Far". I get it at $58 in Central.

Hi Veronmac,

Saw that you wanted to buy the Ameda dual electric pump. Have you bought it? Is it good to use? Grateful if you can share your views.

I am still struggling whether to buy Medela or Ameda. Medela is more popular in HK but Ameda has better reviews in other places. Once read that this Ameda pump, though small and handy, has same efficiency as the Medela Pump-in-style model.
