As my Dr. only go to St. Teresa at Kowloon side and so I have no choice.
When I ring up St. Teresa, the nurse told me not to join package after checking my Dr.'s name. My Dr. usually won't need patient to say 4-5 days and so it will be cheaper not joining package there.
Do you know whehter we can breast feed our babies at our bed side or we need to go to baby room to do so? Thanks. How about feeding at mid-night? Is it allowed?
Thanks for your reply. So, my husband can't go to bb room with me.
About 上奶, my friend had a very painful experience. Her milk gland is not "flowing" though she tried breast feeding (so baby suck nth because there's no milk) and as a result, she suffered "inflammation" and also fever. Her breast was felt like two big stones. So, I want to try breast feed asap to avoid the situation.
Do you have varginal delivery last time at St. Teresa? If not joining package, I should bring along those cleaning bottle, female nakpins, paper underwear etc, correct? So, they won't charge me extra $ for those stuff (I did buy all mummy stuff already). Thanks again! I will strat my maternity leave on Thur and really look forward to it!
Thanks for your information. You are so quick in responding.
So, how long did you stay if you have C-section operation? What's the budget (excluding Dr. fee)? I don't want to stay at hospital for long and wnat to discharge as soon as possible.
So, if I am not joining package, what should I bring?
1. Napkins
2. Paper underwear
3. Plastic bedsheet
4. About "fu" breast, do I need to bring暖水袋 myself?
I think you have not attended their talk. The nurse gave me some notes about preparation for staying at the hospital. You should bring:
1. napkin
2. tissue
3. night dress (front fastening)
4. underwear
5. slipper
6. bath towel
7. $7000 or $12000 or 15000 (HK people) Deposit (by cash/EPS/Credit Card)
Could you share with us the estimated budget for 4-days C-section delivery? I think the standard package is 5-days about $15K (+$2K if suddenly change from varginal delivery to C-section delivery)?
I am very nervous now as I want to try natural delivery but worry that I can't endure the pain. (1st time baby) My Dr. asked whether I will consider "no-pain" delivery last Sat.
