where's my watch?

I forgot to wear my watch these few days. Yesterday when I wanted to place it on the table to remind myself, my watch where I used to place it on a cupboard disappeared. I searched my bags and my house and I could not find it. The one who I can suspect is .....she, the Phil. maid which had come to my house for 5 to 6 months. Yet, I suppress my anger because I did not witness her doing so. Besides, I had not paid attention to my watch for a few days and in case she had taken it, she might have already brought it away from my house on Sunday when she had her holiday. I just asked if she had seen where my watch was and of course, she said she did not know. I really don't know whether I need to search her things? Is it helpful? Now, I relied much on her to look after my 4 months' old son during my work hours. I really felt that she cared and loved my son in the past. I really don't know if it was she who had stolen my watch. What should I do....人質係佢手. If I just leave the incident, am I letting a thief to live with us? What can I do?

你可以遲D試吓佢囉！eg. put some money in the pocket and tell her to wash it,leave your wallet on the table overnight......etc

Yes, this is true "人質係佢手. "

But you MUST check her things without her attention. I always do this and this is why I know she has stolen my octopus card or else i will think i lost it somewhere.
