There are a few good books which I encountered recently.
1. Relax Kids by Marneta Viegas
over 50 meditations methods for kids through fairytales (like ugly ducklings, Alice in wonderland, Aladdin....)
Very good for kids and parents as well.
2. Stinky Thinking by Alan Katz
this is a book consists of games, crosswords, brain teasers for kids who loves stinky things. All kids laugh when you tell them yucky things like farting, boogers, wee wee....
Via this book (or the yucky things) teach them counting, maths, calculating money, etc....in a fun way.
3. Mind Maps for kids....the shortcut to success at school.
Author: Tony Buzan
It put down a lot of "BIG" concept in a very simple and colourful way so as to help kids to think systematically.
In this way, they can improve their memories, create more ideas, more efficient use of their time thus making their lives more easier ( and ours as well of course).

Will be suitable for P.1 onwards.....the English is rather simple. Otherwise the parents can also read it and work out with the kids togather.

2. Stinky Thinking
At the back of the book it printed recommended for ages 6-10. But I guess some of the simple quiz can be done by K3 as well....but for my little girl (P.1) she can handle most of them. While some harder ones, she needs the assistance from her elder sister.
I got it from "Kinokuniya" @ KL, Malaysia costing approx HKD56.
3. Mind Map for kids
I found this particular useful. Can be used by all ages (for younger children need to be guided by parents).
I got this from the HK Public Library as well.
It marked UK 12.99 Pounds.
From my past experiences, these books can be purchased in most internet book websites at a reasonable price.
Kinokuniya is a very famous Japanese Bookstore...I don't exactly know the Chinese name for it....
Apart from Japan, it has branches in Asia...Singapore and Kuala Lumpur (my favourite place to be whenever I visit Singapore / KL) unfortunately not HK though.
It has a website as well.....but I guess is not an online bookstore.
The size of it and the book collection is much much bigger than any bookstore in HK. I can spend hours in it reading / glancing and choosing books.
