請問有冇人清楚，如果我係雙藉 (i.e. HK + UK), 老公係歐洲人。喺倫敦出生嘅bb可唔可以喺香港申請居留權 (第時夠歲數再申請HKID) 呢?
暫時喺 HK immd web site check 到啲資料好似有啲矛盾，又話父/母係香港人就得，但係又有另外一頁話如果囉咗外籍就當放棄中國國籍, 所以有HKID三粒星都唔算. 但係UK可以有雙籍，又從來無聲明放棄中國國籍... 咁即係點哩?
your baby can still apply for HK ID but:
you need to have HKD$100000 in a HK bank account as saving
AND your children MUST visit HK every year for 7 years in a row
this is what my friends are doing - I do not have any kids yet therefore I cannot give you more information - but at least you can try researching thru this route?

for HKID card application, the kid must have to stay (continuously) in HK for at least 7 years with financial support from his or her sponsors (parents). Like my case, same as you, my husband and I both got HKID card and UK passport but i gave birth after citizenship. So when my son first stayed in hk he was holding a dependent visa for 1 year, and then reapply again. When renewal of visa, the IMMD granted two years for the visa. I just renew my son's visa for the third time (just because his passport was expired after 3 years' visa terms), the IMMD granted two more years on the visa. Once my son stays in HK for good 7 seven years, i will apply the HKID Card for him. If you just come to VISIT for seven years in a row with HKD100K, you can get the HKID, i doubt it is so easy for people to get HKID card then. I rememeber the application does ask the length of staying outside HK and time as well as reason.
