i have used babyplus as well and i started using it when i was about 7 month of pregnancy .. a little bit late but it works. my baby cries only when she is hungry. she has great apetite and she is very alert. she is able to see and follow the moving objects after just few days from birth while my friend's baby (not using babyplus and is 11 days younger than mine) just learned this skill a week ago.
so far as i observed, there is no side effect with my baby.
My baby know how to suck my breast on the first day and suck for about half hour each time. Breast feeding for her is not a problem. She only have bottle feeding for once when i am still in the theatre. Now, she is only 13 daysand it is amazing. She cried little and only cried while hungry and wanted to sleep. She can know where the sound come from when we called her. She could widely opened her eyes and looked arouond while she is awake. Anyway, there's much difference from the first baby.
How about other mother?? Is there any mother also using that??? I would like to know if other baby is similar as my baby.
MrsMars,
I was very busy and stressful during my first pregnancy, therefore, my first child was not as quiet and calm as my second child.
During my second pregnancy, I was more relax. I listened to classical music and also sang the kids' songs with my daughter. I tried to stay calm and sleep more. Do not shout and yell. Do not get angry. Eat properly. etc. etc.
I like the subject of prenatal education and I would like to share my understanding of the matter with everyone.
The approach that Felicia took is absolutely correct. Dr. Shichida in his works about prenatal education wrote extensively on how the mother's thoughts can affect the baby. He went on to describe it as baby's "ESP"powers.
No matter what you call this cause and effect process, there is extensive evidence that the thoughts of the mother will cause the brain to give out certain types of chemical thus affecting the baby in the womb as well.
Therefore, to be more relaxed, listen to music, sing songs, no shouting, yelling, eat proper diet are excellent prenatal learning methods.
Dr. Shichida also mentioned Dr. Brent Logan's BabyPlus in a positive way at Pg.20 of his booked called "Babies are Geniuses".
Prenatal Education is not a myth. There is plenty of evidnece confirming the awareness of the baby in the mother's womb.
