i once brought a four year old marc by marc jacobs bags back to shop because the metal ring broke.........
As i was able to provide my wrinkled up piece of crumbled receipt i was waived all charges and got excellent service
........
not sure whether i was lucky that time or it was plainly good after sales service on the comoany's part.... . but i think having tge store receipts help......
