1/ no need to take care of it and ask her to solve the problem by herself immediately (within a certain day) and you need to know the result.
2/ then give her warning letter that she brought you and your family trouble.
3/ if she did not solve it with your deadline, fired her if you like (i think this is better, because what you know is 2267 but what you dont know is unlimit)
finally dont involve it..you have no responsibilty at all.
Same here! A few days ago, I received 2 letters addressed to my Bun Bun, one from the telephone co. , another one is from a co. called "Receiveable Mgt Ltd". My hubby talk to her this morning and ask her to open the letters in front of us. Both are saying that she 欠電話費 HK$1,5xx and should be paid within 7 days in any Watson's store, she said it's her niece, I said I don't care it's your niece or yours, first of all you shouldn't use my address to apply anything without my premission.
And then I ask her to pay the bill today or tomorrow(because I have received the letters for a few days), and show me the receipt. After my hubby go to work, she told me that she don't have any money, I told her to ask my hubby for that.
I will ask her later today, whether she paid the bill or not, cos I ask her go to wellcome to buy the milk powder this morning(it's another story )but when she come back, she take a Watson's bag.
you are right, for me, i have some rules to my maid, one of the rule is she should not use our address for any purpose. i only allow her family to write her letter here...even she gets the letter, she has to show to me first.
therefore, i said you can send her warning letter.
i know what these maid doing.....they just use all the telephone service one by one and just dont pay it...they expect that they dont have to pay before they leave hong kong...
but the most worse is they borrow money...and they expect they dont have to return money to the 大耳聋。 and just to leave the trouble to us!!!
