My mom told me if you got a bb girl, you will get fat and if that's a bb boy, you won't get fat....just the tummy is big. Well, I am not sure if this is true, but from the look of my friends and myself, I think it's pretty true wor.
Note: I got a bb boy and I just gain 4 lbs and I am now 18 1/2 weeks pregnant....
snoopy123,
Your point for having a boy/girl that affect the mother's weight may be correct. Last time, I had a boy, I am not that fat - only fat in the tummy but the face, hand , legs are more or less the same. On the other hand, my colleague also had a baby but a girl, she was much much fatter (she may gained 40lbs-45lbs in total) and seems a little bit " 論盡".
This time, it should be a boy ( not 100% sure) but I guess from the U/S but the doctor can not confirm. I hope I will not gain too much fat on myself and back to normal weight after the baby is born.
How about other mothers who has already know it is a boy/a girl? Come and share!!
That is not really true for me. When i was having my elder daughter, i only gained 29lbs (my orginal weght is 110lbs), and consider that i delivery her when she ws full 40 weeks.
I haven't know the sex of this baby yet, but so far i have gained 4lbs when i was 17 weeks. So really don't know whether the sex of baby will affect our weight or not.
Well...my friend's EDD is Oct and she was skinny than me before having bb. But she gains 10lbs after 18 weeks....hers is a girl....
Plus what I mean gain weight is from the look as well....I am more like ksktay that my arms, legs and other part of my body keep the same but just the tummy blowed up...
