Does the immigration authority call my previous employers to verify the details?? The trouble is one of my previous employers was already closed down .......... if they call or write to check, they will find nothing and will cause any trouble to me or just fail my application??
Question 11: When do you plan to return to Canada to resume residency?? Where do you plan to live upon your return to Canada??
I don't know the date as it depends on when they approve PR to my husband. I don't know where to live now -- does it mean that I have to furnish a Canadian address to them now even before the approval of PR status?? I don't have family or friends in Toronto now and therefore I can't even borrow a Canadian address to fill in this answer. We will live in motel for a few days/a week and try to find a place to rent during this period!! Will fail my application because I cannot give a Canadian address now in the application??

Question 7: I don't know if they will call to verify. I will still put down all the employers rather than skip a period, then they may wonder what you have been doing or are you hiding something? Maybe for the one that closed down, write something like "ABC Company (closed down)"
Question 11: This is a really stupid question, no one can answer that as you don't even know if or when the application will be approved. What I wrote was:
Date resume residency: didn't write anything
Where do you plan to live upon your return: Please refer to the supplementary sheet (I had other questions with long answers that didn't fit the form so I added an extra sheet and typed out my answers).
In the supplementary sheet, I wrote:
Date resume residency: "I plan to resume residency 3 months after my husband receives PR visa. I need 3 months to close down bank accts, resign from job, pack, etc etc....if he needs to land within short notice (less than 3 months), I can still return with him together"
Where do you plan to live (I think they are not asking for exact address but area):
"I plan to live in Toronto where my relatives and friends currently reside" (I don't think they will check if you really have relatives or friends there. At least they did not ask me later for proof.)
Thanks for your detailed answer ......... so in fact where did you live upon your return to Toronto?? Did you have family or friends there when you first arrive?? You lived with your family/friends firstly and then find somewhere for rental?? I am worrying how long we have to spend in motel b4 finding a rental place?? Is it difficult to find a rental apartment (because we have no job letter and credit check required by landlords)?? I browse the motels in Toronto in the internet and the cost for motels is NOT cheap!!
