Don't worry...my boy is now 3mths and is getting well with my 5yrs old Frenchie. My dog also 通屋走個隻,唔困cage架
無問題 ga but u have to understand, you have to give time for the doggie to get use to your baby..becoz for your dog..he stay in the house first..so he will think that is his home..and your baby is a new comer to him so...at the very 1st beginning the dog might not welcome the baby immediately. Dogs have different character also. You have to be patient.
for my case , b4 I bring baby home from hospital...I let the dog smell my baby clothes and towels..when baby go home..I let my husband hold the baby and I gave my dog a big hug and kiss at the door...I still do it this way now. I will greet my dog and give him a kiss whenever I get home from work..
I wrap my baby with a big towel and let my dog smell his little feet..I keep doing this for weeks..when baby is 2mths old ...I let my dog watch me changing diapers and feeding milk. my dog get use to baby's cries ..Just do it step by step and let your dog get use to baby slowly slowly.
Also 1 more thing...although my baby is just 3mths but I already prepare toys for him to play duing his 6mths of age...I let my dog smell his toys and I already put the high chair and playpen in the living room, I want my dog get use to those stuff first before baby can use it. and usually baby's toys were with music and flash lights so it will be a good idea to let the dog get use to those first..^^
hey...forget to tell, dog is dog, they have hair lose just like humans..especially during summer, I clean my floor and funitures everyday using some gentle cleasning agents..you might try that 2...
