We're going to terminate our Philippino maid soon as my husband will be posted to overseas for work for at least 6 months. So It's difficult for us to bring her there. We feel sorry for her as she has just started in July. Here are some info of the maid: 24 years old, single, University graduate, eldest in her family, no overseas working experience before, some domestic and baby sitting experience in Phillippines. She is willing to have one day day off every 2 weeks but of course we pay her back in return. She is now helping me to take care of my 10 month old boy and the housework. But I'm a full time mother, so I will supervise her myself at home. So far, I feel that she's quite smart and a fast learner. She is willing to work late and has no complaint. Her cooking skill is not very good as I normally do the cooking myself but she will assist me. But I think she can cope with it after a while. One thing I have to be honest with you all is one of her eyes cannot see properly but it doesn't really affect her work. So far touch wood, no big problem.....And you can't tell when you look at her. So for that reason I think she will work harder than other maids on the street as she knows that she has limitations. If anyone of you interested, I can pm you with more details. Cheers
