I live in Monte Vista (next to KCR WuKaiSha).
well.. I think the air is fresh.. environment is good.. silent. The density is relatively low in MaOnShan.
Since it's near the sea, humidity must be higher.
Most important, it's more countryside feel. you only need to walk for 10 mins.. then you can find a beach!!! excellant place for cycling, walking!
also, the facility is good.. there is library, swimming pool.. etc.
which one is good? it depends how much you want to pay, how large you want and how close to the KCR station. Sunshine city has many smaller flats but good transportation network. Monte Vista has 600sqft flat upto around 1000 sqft... free shuttle to diamond hill, sunshine city and university station.
我地搬咗入馬鞍山8年幾，直到上年因為小朋友返學問題再搬出九龍，之前住係沙田。但如果要選擇一個地方長住，我一定會首選馬鞍山，因為始終空氣好，比我住沙田時更好！另外，因為我住馬鞍山市中心向海大單位，所以購物、買餸非常方便，但夜晚就好靜，連街上面 d 人講嘢都聽得清清楚楚！雖然舊屋係向海，但我唔覺得特別潮濕，反而依家係九龍要開住兩部抽濕機先 OK！
而最近馬鐵開咗之後，出九龍就更方便，如果唔係為咗小朋友返學，我真係唔捨得搬呀！
