This is my experience before.
I've employ a finished contract bun bun, yesterday she go to immgration to got the visa. Actually she go to my home tonight, but this morning my agent told that the bun bun she 有乙型肝炎 is positive. And she didn't work with me yet. I don't want to pay one month salary and ticket for her. Anyone one can help me pls! Thanks! Good Luck!

It depends on how much u believe the agent. If u don';t believe the agent , u can 到港當日Agent同佢驗完身,自己再帶佢驗身,然後送返Agent度等 both 報告.
For me, I believe the agent 驗身報告 in HK. (to see if the 驗身agent is large enough) But I still will buy kill worm drug for the maid and ask them to take no matter the report is + or -ve. Cos worm maybe not easily to find in one time stool. u can buy the kill worm drug in Watson store.
I did asked immigration office for that question. I also asked whether I can put on the contract that if the maid failed the medical check in HK, can I terminate her contract without any notice. The answer is NO.
Then, I asked Labour Dept, how comes some companies in HK require employee pass medical exam as one of the entry criteria. Why is it applicable to Oversea maid! The answer is oversea maid has it own set of standard contract.
My next question is why no standard contract for HK employee? You know what the staff told me, if you don't agree with the DH contract, you can hire a local maid.
I was pretty mad and asked, please let me know where can I hire a local maid that is willing to stay at my place. Also, please ask my employer let me go home on time, so I don't have to stay late at work in order to take care of my kids in the evening! The staff stated it is not under his controlled!!!!
