Is there any courier company could deliver frozen breastmilk from KL to HK? (Though I know it may not be possbile, still want to ask the question.) Or should I approach some frozen food company to see if they could give me a helping hand? (Though it seems impossible).
Where is the cheapest place to buy Medela milk bag? (Though I have over 60 bottles at home, I need some milk bag to save space in the freezer)
I will have a number of overseas trip in the next few months.
Mid-Sept - 5-day trip to KL
Late Nov - 2-week trip to KL
May 07 - 2-week trip to China
I used to enjoy overseas trip before the birth of ahgoo. However, it was not longer the same after ahgoo was born. Now, ahgoo junior is only about 6 weeks old and I have an overseas trip when she is only 2 months old. Really not want to go .... but it is my work and I have to do so ..... though I could say no .... but that is not my working attitude.
Now I have to empty my freezer and start to store milk for ahgoo junior. I also had a 3-week trip when ahgoo was about 8 months old. But this time, ahgoo junior is only 2 months old. I have to store up about 40 bottles of milk for her. Hope that she will be fine with the frozen milk. I started to let her try the bottle these two days and she seems fine with it, though not as good as direct feeding.
Hope that both I and ahgoo junior could overcome the challenges without much difficulties!!
Any mommies will have the same challenges? Let's share and support each other!
You are a smart and experienced nursing mama, so YOU CAN OVERCOME !!
By the way, my friend also needs to go for work trip regularly. She kept on pumping and storing mama milk at hotel, hostel or office freezer there, then requested to keep frozen milk bags on plane. You can request the service at check-in desk and remind on plane. Icepak and icebag are needed.
I think Medela milk bag is too expensive.
I am using Avent milk storage bag, but need to order again with the help of my friend.
If possible, I welcome to help you, but sorry for unavailable now!

Thanks for your support and encouragement! I returned from KL last Saturday night. Eventually, I poured away all the milk that pumped during the 4-days trip (about 150oz in total :-( ).
I resumed my work today and bring along the pumps, ice pack, bottles with me .... another long way to go for bf.
This time, I bought two manual pumps and pump both breast at the same time. It works out very well and fast (save 50% time), it takes me only 10 mins to pump the milk (around 8-10oz each time).
I am most worry about my next trip to KL in late November, a 2-weeks trip and ahgoo junior is only four months old by then. I really want to bring her with me ...... however, it is a bit difficult. But I really don't want to leave her when she is still so young....
you can ask your hotel to help with purchasing some dry ice for you to pack the milk to take home. just hand carry the milk with the dry ice on the plane will be good enough for short flight like KL. ask the hotel room services to keep all the milk you pump in their freezer. fridge in the room is not enough.
i did once in bangkok and once in shanghai. may need a lot more explanation but with good hotels, should be fine.
good luck!!
