Dear sisters, I am still thinking how many embryos should I put back to 子宮, 2 or 3?
I want to increase the chance, but just worry to have 3 babies at the same time, what will u do ?
I had 11 embryos retrieved - 9 mature, 1 not mature, 1 abnormal. Out of the 9 mature, I have got 8 developed into embryos. They are all grade 2. The embryologist suggest to wait until day 5. Finally, I got 5 blastocysts.
Nevertheless, I suffered from OHSS and thus could not continue the embryo transfer. The 5 blastocysts are now all frozen.
Woah, u have many good quality blastocysts, when will u do ET(is that mean embryo transfer?).
I am consultant Dr.Tay, he said he will not use day 5, but as I know day 5 can get good quality embryos & the sucessful rate will be higher. But 3 days is his normal Practice, thus, I can't ask him to change.
I probably will do the embryo transfer (ET) next cycle. Frankly, quite worried about the quality of the frozen blastocysts though the embryologist reassured me that the deterioation was 10% maximum.
Are you using gonal-f? How much do you have to inject daily?
Don't worry, u hv 5 embryo, 10% off still hv 4.5. & that is the maximium rate, I think your blastocysts are growth 5 days already, it may reflect their survival ability is very high. I believe all of them can be survival & healthy.
Yes, I am using Gonal-F, the 1st 2days use 375ui & con't to use 300, dr. expect to use 3000ui.
Weah, only use 225 & get so many eggs, you are very healthy.
Today, just came back from clinic, one good news & one bad news.
The good news is few more eggs were developed, now have 11 eggs & few more small eggs are developing, I am going to do the "egg extration" this saturday, totoally, I will inject 11 needles (total 3450ui). Hope I can get more eggs.
The bad news to me is one side of my tubal just discover is "水腫"again, this yr's June due to the "宮外孕" one side tubal already cut & the other side's 水腫 was cleaned up by the doctor. When I went to check the "卵泡" today, discovered the 水腫 come back again. My dr is very upsat about that, he said my be only put two lower grade eggs for this time IVF, because it is low chance to growth up from this envirnoment.
Sisters,any alternative I can do at this moment? Should I put the eggs this time or just frozen all the eggs & done the surgery 1st (腹腔手術 again)?
I know that kind of "poison water" will affact the baby finally, should I con't the IVF?
Will you have a chance to talk to the IVF coordinator? Perhaps you may seek some opinion from them.
Is the fluid accumulation very serious? Last time, my doctor suggest me not to proceed ET because my fluid accumulation started immediately after ER and quite serious. He told me if I continued ET, I might have to stay in hospital for weeks in case of pregnancy. That will cost ~100K.
U also have fluid accumulated last time? What problem to cause fluid, same as me or else? 100K is really expensive to try, so I better ask IVF coordinator tomorrow to ask for her opinion.
I really don't want to do the surgery again, very painful & need to take over 2 months to recover. In fact, I do the IVF just want to avoid "宮外孕"& surgery. I really want to give up, I am so scare to do the surgery :-(
Do you recall that I have told you that I could not continue the IVF due to OHSS. Abdominal fluid accumulation is in fact one of the symptoms. Fluid was found in my abdomen, uterus. Treatment might cost me 100K in the worst scenario.
Your case is kind of different from mine. Perhaps the treatment to your tubal fluid accumlation is different. You'd better to consult your doctor the consequence and treatment (if necessary) if you continue the IVF process.

Today I did the ER, totally got 13 eggs.
11 eggs can be used, 1 is mmature & 1 is abnormals. Also, those " 水膧" disappeared sudently. Thus, Dr. said I can put 3 eggs & should put the best quality embryos.
Thanks god, it is a very good results that I can't expact. Hope coming result are also good.
