I have moved house a few months ago and my maid is now working in the new house instead of the one specified in the Employment Contract.
I want to formally applied for change of the working address for my maid. I called the agent and they said they will charge me $300 for doing that. I am thinking of doing it myself.
I check the Immigration Department website and I know that I have to fill in a Form ID407G with address proof.
What else should I do ? Do I have to amend the contract ? Do I have to inform the consulate ?
Oh.......if u pay yr agent, she really gain a lot of profit fm u.
it's so simple just filling in the Form and fax to immigration and then notice yr insurance co.
u can do it yourself. if u dont hv the form, kindly let me know i can email to u.
Thank you very much... I have drafted the letter and filled in the required form faxed to me by Immigration Department. I will send the letter asap. I will also fill in the change of address form with the insurance company.
The immigration officer told me that I don't have to inform the consulate for amendment of the employment contract. He said that the consultate will charge a fee for amendment of the contract.
I note that the form required by the Immigration Department is called "Revised Schedule of Accommodation and Domestic Duties" which is similar to the schedule attached to the employment contract.
So legally speaking, by signing the "Revised Schedule", the terms under which can be incorporated into the original employment contract. So I think there is really no need to have it approved by the consulate.
