十一月中去日本, 打算起附近住一晚. 因為好full, 淨係得以下兩間有房, 聽日要confirm, 有無媽咪知道邊間好d? 請幫忙

I just only stayed in Tokyo Disney Ambrassor Hotel before. For your two choices, I'll also choose Hilton because the guarranty of its brand.

How did you find Ambrassdor Hotel? They only have the expensivie rooms left, the room that's available is JPY51,000! That's why I planned to stay in the ofificial hotel instead.

Yes, the brand of Hilton is better, but the web site shows the room of Okura seems nicer and the room is bigger, so I don't know which one to pick?

Here in below is the link about the room rate of Ambassor Hotel you can refer to. In fact, its a bit expensive, but my wife and I feel its worth to stay one night there. Fortunately, that trip was sponsored by the "stock market" partially

wow.. I don't have any sponsor at all, it's our own money, so we want to make every penny worths it. I checked their web site already, the cheapest room should be JPY34,000, but since it's very full, when I called to the reservation centre, they only have the Ambassador Floor left, which is JPY51,000

and we actually going to stay for 2 nights, so it's really a lot of money, although I'd love to stay there too.

Did yo go to Chef Mickey in Ambassador Hotel? I booked it and don't know if it's good or not.

I also have to think twice also if stays for 2 nights. We are lucky at that time only. For other trips to Japan, we stayed at Sunshine City or Sun route hotel only. Just one and only one night in Ambassor.

Yes, we did go to the Chef Mickey for lunch buffet. We stayed around 2.5 hours over there since we're busy to take photos with the characters like, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goody, Donald, Daisy, Chip & Dale...... They not came out once but round and round, my kid was very excited at that moment and didn't want to leave until the buffet closed.
Remember to full charge your digital camera or perpare enough film before you come in the Chef Mickey.

i stayed in hilton tokyo bay for my last trip to disney this sept. i stayed there for 4D3N.

i personally didnt like the hotel cos' the facilities in guest room is quite old and the toilet isnt big. but they do have 2 play areas for kids to play round in the lobby which my girl likes it pretty much.

i didnt go to okura but from the outlook, it's much newer than hilton.

for the walking distance from the bay side station to the hotel, it's pretty much the same, maybe hilton is a little bit farther. of course, both have shuttle bus from the station to hotel.

I booked dinner buffet, how is the food there? What kind of food do they serve? I've been to Chef Mickey in Orlando and Enchanted Garden in HK, I love character dining a lot! and yes, there isn't much time to eat as I can imagine how busy I'll be with the characters

Thanks a lot for your comment, actually I chose Okura finally as a friend told me that the Okura hotel group got a pretty good brand name in Japan. I'm glad that I chose it after reading your comment on Hilton. I hope it'll be as nice as it shows on web site.

By the way, how long does it take from the hotel to disney including the shuttle bus and monorail?

i never took the shuttle bus to hotel and we just like walking from the station to hotel, walking distance is quite close actually. just 4-5 minutes.

but guess wont take long for travelling with shuttle bus as the hotel just locates on the other side of the station. depends on the queue at the bus stopcos sometimes many people are waiting for the shuttle. actual travelling time will be less than 2 minutes i guess.

the monorail, depends on the time, sometimes it departs every 4 minuties and sometimes 6. from bay side station, the next will be disney sea, then station connected to JR and then will be disneyland. probably takes less than 8 minutes travelling i guess cos i didnt count.

remind you that, if you may buy the day pass for monorail, the character on that will be varied from the station where you buy. the one i had which i bought in bay side station is donald duck.
