I visited private doctor and don't know if it is the same in gov't clinic. Since I delivered the baby through c-section, the doctor mainly checked whether the cut has recovered probably after 1-2 weeks after the delivery.
After a month's time, I have to visit the doctor again, he will check whether the size of the uterus has been resumed normal and whether it has returned to its original place. The doctor also takes some tissues from the neck of the uterus for laboratory examination (in fact, this should be done every year for regular checkup)!
