Most likely your baby has epilepsy since she has afebrile seizures (i.e. not due to fever). Next step you may need to do a MRI to identify if there is any structural problem in the brain. My daughter also starts to have seizures since 6 months old. The doctor may start to give your baby anti-convulsant medicine to control the seizure if required. In many cases, the baby may have epilepsy but all the tests can still be normal. You may find a lot of information by searching "epilepsy" in the website.

The CT scan result also shows structural problem. Why need MRI ? The doctor said the convulsant medicine would affect much the baby and don't want to give my baby at this stage. :-(
According to the neurologist, the MRI is the best way to identify the structural problem or any tumor exist. It's true that the anticonvulsant medicine has its side effects. Since this is only the first episode, it's worthwhile to observe further before starting the medication which is a long term application, minimum 2 years. Which hospital is your baby attending, mine is following up at QM and their neurologist team is very good.
