question about filling in the form for application

Dear All,

I am filling in the form for the skilled worker for Immigration to Canada, can anyone answer me the following questions:-

1. now it has the new simplified application system, and it requires to submit 6 pcs of photographs, but no need to write down the name at the back of the photographs, only put them into an envelope. However, on the form, it has a space for photo, do I need to stick the photo onto the form?

2, it needs to submit self-addressed labels, does it mean I need to prepare the labels only, not the self-addressed envelopes?

how long can I hear from them after I submit the form

my baby was born on April 04!

Dear chuchuaunt1009,

I did NOT use this new simplified form to apply. So I do not know how to comment. If you have things unclear, you can call in the Canada Consulate to ask.

But if I were you, I will just do according to the instruction.
1. If they ask you to stick the photo, just stick it there.

2. If they ask you to provide the lable, just provide the label.

It is unsure how long before you heard from them. It is case by case, so ppl receive reply less than 1 year (as in my sister-in-law's case) but I heard that some wait for a couple of years. So it is difficult to tell.

I suggested that if you did not hear from them after 9 months, you can give them a call and ensure that they did receive your application.
