Boiling ChuChu bottle

Dear all,
New to the forum. Recently just change to use Chu Chu PPSU bottle. I use ordinary boiler to steam the bottle, but I found the the cap of the bottle turned to be very soft and change to oval shape. Do you know whether you can boil the cap?

Do you know what the use of the yellow stick in the bottle?

我昨日在西田訂了6個8oz chuchu奶樽, 我問個promotor支黃色棒點用, 佢話第一次要篤個排氣孔and同奶咀個孔, 之後就唔駛, 除非個排氣孔塞
