I also studied and worked in UK but recently moved to USA! Yes, in UK, lots of places just baked lots of potatos in the morning and then keep them in hot hold and then 放D牛油係薯仔中字中間就住放D料及加汁. I actually worked in catering and lots of places would just cook the potato in microwave, this is cheating, but faster ... just remember to use a fork to make some holes on the potato first and wrap it loosely in kitchen paper if u don't want it to 爆炸 everywhere!
